HP Scitex have turned their headquarters building in Netanya, Israel, into a showroom for what can be achieved with their high-quality large-format inkjet printers – using Avery MPI films.

They printed the films to create a variety of exterior and interior decorative features, providing visitors with a real-life demonstration of how much digitally-printed graphics can contribute to the ‘look and feel’ of all kinds of applications.

Visitors to the Netanya site are welcomed by extensive, colourful graphics on the central external frontage of the HP Scitex headquarters building, which leads into the reception area and the offices. Once inside, they can evaluate for themselves the results that different HP Scitex-printed Avery MPI films – with their appropriate overlaminate -- can deliver within the context of architectural décor, interior design features, and promoting corporate identity. There are lively graphics on the floor, on the reception desk fascia, on the walls, and in many other locations.

For the Netanya project, HP Scitex mainly used Avery MPI 1005 Supercast vinyl with Avery Easy Apply air egress adhesive technology, overlaminated with matt Avery DOL 1100. For a number of transparent applications, glass-clear Avery MPI 1040 was also used; and decorations on the floor – printed on the polymeric calendered Avery MPI 2002 film -- were protected by the special floor-marking overlaminate Avery DOL 6100. For a matt, glare-free effect, some prints were protected with the matt overlaminating film Avery DOL 3100.

All in all, this was an excellent demonstration of how the Avery MPI range and HP Scitex printers are perfect partners in creating high-quality, durable digital graphics for every location.
